Warrikal’s major project division currently delivers projects in civil, water, and non-process infrastructure throughout the resource sector.The role is based in our West Perth office with a broad footprint across the Pilbara. This position is a senior member of the leadership team with holistic accountability for winning and safely delivering multiple large projects in line with business expectations.OUR ROLE Reporting to our Executive General Manager, this role will see you:Develop and implement short- and long-term divisional strategies aligned with our overall business strategy. Drive and support business growth including the identification of new project delivery opportunities. Implement Warrikal’s safe systems of work and drive an industry leading safety culture. Manage and oversee end to end project delivery activities. Oversee the financial performance (P&L) of the projects division including budgeting, forecasting and cost control. Lead, coach and support a team of experienced and high performing team members. Develop and maintain strong internal and external relationships including clients, suppliers and other key stakeholders. Act as a leader to model the appropriate behaviors and values of the Warrikal business. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement with a focus on safety, performance and productivity. ABOUT YOU Holds a deep and successful resume of safe project delivery and performance on a large scale.You Will Also Ideally Have Previous experience in a General Manager role within the resource industry. Exceptional leadership skills and ability to build a high performing team. Strong financial, forecasting, cashflow and budgeting literacy. Strong understanding of contract risk and commercial acumen.
