Apply your skills and expertise to drive operational excellence at our UniLodge Melbourne CBD location! 10th February, 2025 The Role - General Manager: An exciting opportunity awaits for a skilled General Manager to join UniLodge Melbourne CBD, guiding our team in delivering outstanding experiences for students and visitors alike. In this role, you will lead and motivate a team, implement strategic plans, and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders.Key Responsibilities will include: Maintain a strong commitment to student wellbeing at all times. Develop a deep understanding of our Operating Agreements to manage the property according to the management agreement and its related KPIs. Establish and maintain constructive and productive working relationships with the client, head office, operations team, student residents and other relevant stakeholders. Manage and optimise the financial return, and the overall financial performance of the property as outlined in the Financial Model/Budget. Maintain the property to the highest level of cleanliness and presentation as would be expected of a professional property management company. Pro-actively maintain the building’s fit-out and the standard of its equipment. Provide overall leadership, guidance, and direction to develop a team of high performing staff. About You: Minimum 2-3 years experience in the student accommodation or hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of the Residential Tenancy Act. Demonstrated experience in leading and managing a team. Effective verbal and written communication skills with staff, owners, residents, and contractors. National Police Check (completed within last 3 months), at your own cost. State Working with Children’s Check, at your own cost. Unrestricted work rights in Australia. Must hold a valid VIC Agent’s Representative Certificate. Ability to work 38 hours across MON - FRI.
