General Manager - Operations (Commercial Cleaning) General Manager - Operations (Commercial Cleaning) Commercial cleaning experience is essential Field-based role Lead our service delivery in Canberra, with travel required to Wollongong. As a nationally recognised, award-winning service provider, our team is focused on partnering with our clients for long-term success and service delivery excellence. The Role As a field-based leader, your focus on people and relationships will be vital to the success of this role. You will lead your team and drive portfolio performance, ensuring the delivery of service excellence for your portfolio of clients from Canberra. While managing the day-to-day operational needs of your team and client group, you will foster positive stakeholder relationships, exceed our client’s expectations, and ensure that we add value to our client portfolio. A sound understanding of commercial cleaning operations, relationship building, budgets and costs, service delivery and stakeholder management is critical to success in this role. As the General Manager, you will: Develop and maintain strong, positive relationships with our clients, internal teams, and contractors Oversee operational deliverables and achieve KPIs (individual and team) Lead a small team of Area Managers Drive a high-performing culture within your team Coach and train your team to deliver service excellence Manage and deliver the expectations of our clients and contracts Visit client sites and conduct regular quality audits Ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all Skills and Experience The successful applicant will be a suitably experienced leader who has: Proven experience in a similar role Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to build relationships and rapport quickly Strong organisational and administration skills Must have previous Management level work experience in the cleaning industry A Working with Children and National Criminal History check is required for this role All candidates for this role must have NV1 clearance and be Australian Citizens.
