General Manager / Operations - Concrete Company Exciting opportunity for a dynamic GM/ Operations Manager to join our highly respected Concrete Company. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced General Manager / Operations leader to join my clients concrete company to manage and improve our already successful services. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our concrete production facility in Gosford, NSW. Your strategic leadership and operational expertise will be crucial in driving continuous improvements and ensuring we maintain our high standards of quality and efficiency. What you'll be doing Providing strategic direction and oversight for all operational aspects of the concrete and cement production facility Developing and implementing policies, procedures and systems to optimise production, logistics and maintenance Leading a team of production, maintenance and logistics personnel, fostering a positive and collaborative work culture Monitoring and analysing Key Performance Indicators to identify areas for improvement Ensuring compliance with all relevant industry regulations and safety standards Collaborating cross-functionally with sales, finance, HR and other departments to align operations with business objectives Representing the company and building strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients and suppliers What we're looking for Proven experience in operations management, preferably in the Concrete, building materials, or construction Exceptional leadership and team-building skills Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities Strong communication and interpersonal skills Strong knowledge of concrete production processes and quality control standards (desirable) What’s on offer?
