Tasked with providing leadership, vision and direction to the business to help Crown drive forward. This role will cultivate opportunities for growth, identify opportunities to reduce spend and have a valued contribution to revenue generation. You will be responsible for: Provide expert, authoritative advice to key stakeholders on all aspects of procurement strategy and practice to inform business planning and action, encourage innovative approach and enhance value through improved procurement efficiency and outcomes. Lead high level negotiations with procurement partners and suppliers to deliver optimal value for money outcomes. Develop and implement overarching policies, procedures, systems, structures and frameworks for all procurement related activities to deliver best practice procurement and contract management solutions. Integrate procurement departments across the Crown properties to ensure an aligned vision and direction. Ensuring best practice and promoting a culture of process alignment. Lead in the identification, actions, measures and reporting of Crown’s strategic partnerships. Drive alignment across all parts of the organisation to ensure the actions, measures and communications are captured. The goal is to drive over and above contractual EBITDA value that delivers value to both parties. About you This role has a high level of commercial impact and competing demands. To be successful in this role you will need to be a proven people leader with a long track record of developing strategic sourcing strategy. You will have a background in complex corporate organisations ideally multi-site. You will also have; A Degree (or undertaking a Degree) in a relevant discipline (e.g. Business Management; Law; MBA etc.) is desirable. Experience managing large spends across multiple sites and delivering EBITDA value. Demonstrated success at delivering operational excellence and transformation projects in medium to large organisations. Demonstrates sound entrepreneurship and innovative thinking with advanced negotiation skills. History of developing long-term strategic partners that deliver value. Proven ability to build effective relationships that deliver strong commercial outcomes.
