Add expected salary to your profile for insights We are seeking an exceptional and experienced General Manager l Service Support to join the executive leadership team. In this pivotal role, you will play a key role in shaping the future of the service support functions, ensuring exceptional performance, and contributing to the achievement of the organization's strategic vision. As the General Manager I Service Support, you will report directly to the CEO. This NFP organisation was established 50 years ago and has evolved to deliver a unique mix of learning and therapeutic services which supports people with different abilities to maximise their wellbeing, achieve their goals and reach their potential. This innovative and dynamic organisation operates eight campuses across Melbourne, with the Head Office located in Doncaster East. They have built a team who are progressive and responsive, committed to research, innovation and best practice to deliver real, measurable outcomes. About the position: Partner with the CEO and executive team to develop and execute strategic plans, risk frameworks, and quality standards. Lead the creation and implementation of operational plans to achieve strategic goals and objectives. Foster a high-performing service support team through coaching, mentoring, and building a strong culture of accountability, teamwork, and collaboration. Drive innovation, quality improvement, and best practices across the service portfolio. Lead the organisation's workforce strategy, fostering a positive culture and attracting top talent. The Service Support portfolio includes Facilities, Quality Assurance and People & Culture. Knowledge and understanding of relevant disability and human rights legislation, the principles of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), Fair Work Act and other significant industrial, safety and social welfare legislation. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with participants, families, staff and relevant people in the community with general knowledge of the disability sector. Qualifications: Tertiary qualification in Business Administration or relevant field. A post graduate qualification would be well regarded. Current Drivers Licence. Membership of a relevant association or registration body is highly desirable. Proven experience in a senior management role (e.g. General Manager, Executive Director, Operations Manager). Strong understanding of corporate finance, performance measures, and business acumen. Analytical, strategic mind with the ability to solve problems creatively. Deep knowledge of corporate governance principles and best practices. Passion for driving innovation and exceeding expectations. Experience in the NFP service sector such as disability, community services, health, or education. Ability to manage a broad portfolio.
