The Practice This modern family practice has a caring, progressive approach to patients’ health and medical needs, with a dedicated team aiming to provide a high standard of professional health care. Maintaining effective communication between the team and patients is a priority to the practice, as is providing a broad range of services through special interests and allied health. This is a training practice, providing doctors with the opportunity to pass on their knowledge and skills to medical students and GP registrars while earning extra income. This purpose-built private-billing practice offers GPs the opportunity to follow their special interests while receiving support from an experienced team of nurse practitioners, receptionists and onsite allied health, helping your day run smoothly. Focus on using your skills and experience to provide family-orientated high-quality care. Practice opening hours are 9am to 7pm weekdays and 9am to 5pm weekends, with no on-call required and a roster that takes your work-life balance into consideration; flexibility is within reach! The Location This practice is located only 12km from the Canberra CBD. With so many things to see and do in Canberra, you will be so grateful for flexible work hours! Both the Australian War Memorial and the National Gallery are local along with a vibrant food culture, fine local wines, great restaurants and a local food trail known as the Poacher's Pantry. With a large Meriton shopping centre and a selection of excellent private and public schools, this is an ideal location to raise a family! Language skills of Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, Sinhala, Urdu would be highly desirable. Women’s health experience and skills are also highly desirable. DPA position and visa sponsorship are available.
