Our mission is to enhance the lives of individuals with disabilities by fostering independence, building self-care skills, and creating brighter futures. About the Role: We are seeking a passionate and driven General/House Manager to take the lead in setting up and managing our brand-new Geelong facility. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in establishing a centre of excellence for disability care. You will oversee daily operations, ensure the highest standards of service delivery, and foster a supportive and welcoming environment for both clients and staff. What You’ll Achieve: Lead the successful setup and operation of Geelong’s newest Respite and SIL house. Establish and maintain premium standards in disability support services. Empower clients by promoting independence and engaging them in meaningful activities. Build and mentor a motivated team dedicated to delivering exceptional care. Key Responsibilities: Reporting to the Director(s), you will: Manage, mentor, and guide a small team in delivering individualized support and related activities. Seek new clients and engage with key stakeholders to ensure consistent new lead opportunities. Oversee client and staff management for 24/7 services in collaboration with others. Direct and equip Support Workers to engage clients effectively in everyday activities. Contribute to the governance of RSA by recommending improvements to systems, processes, policies, and procedures. Monitor service delivery quality and ensure compliance with relevant standards. Prepare plans, reports, business cases, and evaluations as required. Liaise with service providers, the NDIS, regulatory agencies, and partners, including managing Restrictive Practice Reporting. Support Direct Support staff in delivering high-quality services and promote a positive work culture. Be available for on-call responsibilities when required. About You: You are a passionate leader with a genuine drive to build capability within your team and provide outstanding disability services. You: Are a natural influencer, modelling professional conduct and commitment to quality service delivery. Thrive in a high-performing team environment and take ownership and accountability for outcomes. Possess excellent communication skills, with a high level of literacy and active listening. Are self-motivated, well-organized, and resourceful. Exhibit integrity, passion, and reliability. Hold a Diploma or higher qualification in disability, community services, or a related field. Have strong knowledge of standards and requirements in the disability and community sectors. Demonstrate the ability to build trust with clients, families, carers, and partners.
