We are looking for a skilled Genesys Cloud Engineer to work for our client's team in Australia. Ideally, this person should be based in Brisbane . However, due to the niche requirements, we can also consider candidates based in Melbourne/Sydney/New Zealand . This position will be responsible for improving our client's customer journeys while delivering significant business value through their omni-channel contact centre as a service, with a focus on integration to their ecosystem. Responsibilities Develop and deploy innovative Genesys solutions to enhance omni-channel contact center operations. Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate Genesys Cloud with CRM platforms, telephony systems, and digital channels. Conduct routine system audits, proactively identifying and resolving performance issues to ensure high availability and reliability. Implement best practices in IVR, routing, and self-service solutions to improve user journeys and agent efficiency. Act as the escalation point for critical incidents, diagnosing and resolving complex platform issues. Maintain comprehensive records of system configurations and integrations while ensuring adherence to company policies and industry regulations. Ideal Candidate Profile: At least 5 years of hands-on experience in Genesys Cloud development and operations, with a deep understanding of IVR and routing strategies. Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and telephony systems/protocols. Comfortable working in Agile environments, managing project timelines, dependencies, and delivering high-quality software solutions.
