Working closely with our team in SA and soils laboratory, we are looking for a true consultant to grow our Geotechnical business in Victoria. We are looking for a candidate that can balance the commercial and technical outcomes for our clients, servicing both our external and internal clients. We are looking for outstanding interpersonal skills and a candidate can guide, develop and grow a team around them. As a key member of the Victorian Leadership Team, you will relish challenges and work with others as One Team to succeed. Key responsibilities of this role include: Manage all aspects of a growing Geotechnical team Develop and maintain client relationships Provide geotechnical advice to internal and external clients Preparation of quotes and tenders Undertake geotechnical investigations and assessments Supervising, mentoring and peer reviewing the technical work of other team members Interact with and provide guidance within our NATA accredited materials testing laboratory Key selection criteria: Tertiary qualifications in civil/geotechnical engineering or related discipline Proven skills in building and maintaining client relationships Excellent written and oral communication skills, with strong report writing ability Flexibility to work either in the office, out on site or interstate Experience with geotechnical software packages is highly regarded This role represents an outstanding opportunity for the right person to join the FMG family and continue to develop their professional career.
