Site Name: GSK HQ, Australia - Victoria - Abbotsford, Mississauga Milverton DrivePosted Date: Mar 11 2025The Global Medical Digital Excellence and Embedding team has strong partnerships with our priority markets’ medical teams and digital leaders, with clear focus to change the digital mindset of our in-office and field staff, helping to improve their confidence in – and use of – digital channels, data and analytics, new tech features and products, and omni-channel execution. This includes virtual meetings and virtual conferences, digitized medical presentations, 1:1 email, mass Email, the Medical Affairs Portal, social channels and listening, congress and conference booth technologies, and more. In this role, the Global Medical Digital Excellence Manager will build relationships of trust and be accepted as a valued partner within priority Global and LOC medical teams. You will be able to influence and help inform decisions into future facing capabilities that drive the business forward. You will help embed digital channels and supporting tech features, and support omni-channel user journey execution, at the LOC level. You are a digital channels expert who can explain clearly to your business customers through developing guidance, frameworks, and best practices to simplify the understanding and uptake of utilizing the entire GSK digital and tech suite. Use of metrics and communications is important to drive uptake and share what good looks like, helping to drive improved confidence in digital, helping teams use and incorporate digital into their business plans. You will also need to understand and follow our governance and compliance frameworks. In this role you will Be a valued expert and consultant for digital channels and omni-channel customer experiences, and optimized use, within Medical Affairs for Global and LOC Medical teams. Embed new tech features / GenAI tools into the Global and LOC medical teams with adequate support from the Therapy Area and Regional Tech partners, tech product teams and medical capabilities teams. Develop and own the medical digital channels and omni-channel ecosystem documents, guidance and frameworks (Best Practice, Showcase, Playbooks, Medical Affairs user journeys) consumed by LOC and Global Medical Affairs partners. Partner with Global Medical Teams, Global Medical Communications and Global Congress Teams to identify opportunities to disseminate and support localization and adoption of scientific content and omni-channel user journeys in priority LOCs. Provide leadership and innovation in data and analytics by using advanced dashboards to derive insights which lead to new business opportunities. Identify gaps between current capabilities and strategic objectives and benchmark against industry best practices and competitor strategies. Qualifications & Skills: We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals: Degree in Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Business Management, Digital or related field and/or the areas of specialization and practical on the job-related education experience. Strong interest and ability to keep up to speed with the latest relevant technologies and the digitization of our business model (e.g. genAI). Marketing Automation (email campaigns, customer segmentation, analytics). Multi-channel and omni-channel experience, data insights & exploring new data and AI capabilities. Experience with Virtual/Hybrid/Live event platforms and features, and end to end execution via digital engagement across multiple channels. Preferred Qualifications & Skills: Digital Systems experience in Medical/Pharma environment highly desired. Excellent relationship management, strong influencing, and communication skills. Sales Force Marketing Cloud, Veeva CRM, Veeva Events Management, Azure/PowerBI, AEM, Tealium. Virtual Events Platforms (On24, Zoom, Spot Me, Teams Live Events). Experience in delivering business impact through process and tech enabled solutions.
