About The RoleAs Global Operations Director – Spacetalk Mobile , you will own and drive the international expansion of our MVNO business. This is a high-impact leadership role , responsible for scaling mobile operations, increasing revenue, managing compliance, and optimising vendor partnerships . You will lead all aspects of MVNO operations , from network management and pricing strategies to international expansion and regulatory compliance . Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) , you will play a pivotal role in shaping Spacetalk Mobile’s global success. Regulatory & Compliance Expertise – You stay ahead of industry regulations and telecom compliance standards in multiple markets. Key Responsibilities Strategic Growth & Expansion Develop and execute the global expansion strategy for Spacetalk’s MVNO, launching services in new international markets. Drive revenue growth and profitability through optimized pricing models, partnerships, and service offerings. Identify and pursue market opportunities, acquisitions, and strategic alliances to accelerate expansion. Operational Leadership & Excellence Oversee end-to-end MVNO operations , ensuring optimal network performance, service delivery, and customer experience . Implement scalable processes, automation, and infrastructure to support international expansion. Drive efficiencies across customer acquisition, billing, and retention strategies . Compliance & Regulatory Management Ensure full regulatory compliance across all jurisdictions, managing legal requirements in each market. Stay ahead of telecommunications legislation and industry standards to mitigate risks and ensure seamless operations. Vendor & Partner Management Lead high-value negotiations with network operators, technology providers, and global vendors. Optimize commercial agreements to secure the best pricing, SLAs, and quality of service. Strengthen relationships with key stakeholders across the telecommunications ecosystem. Leadership & Team Development Build and lead a high-performing global MVNO team , fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration. Work closely with Product, Marketing, and Customer Experience teams to create seamless mobile services for customers. Requirements Essential 10+ years of experience in telecommunications, MVNO, or mobile operations Proven track record in scaling mobile businesses across multiple international markets Strong commercial acumen with experience in P&L ownership, revenue growth, and strategic partnerships Expertise in regulatory and compliance management within the telecom sector Exceptional negotiation and contract management skills with MNOs, vendors, and suppliers Leadership experience, including building and leading high-performing teams Strong analytical and problem-solving skills , with a data-driven approach to decision-making Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with evolving business needs Preferred Experience in emerging markets or launching telecom services internationally Background in digital transformation, automation, and optimizing telecom operations Knowledge of IoT, eSIM, and next-gen mobile technologies MBA or equivalent experience in business strategy and operations Benefits Competitive salary with performance-based incentives.
