Global Product Manager - Wear SolutionsWeir Minerals Flexible locationHybrid/Remote We are looking for a motivated product manager to take global responsibility for our Wear Solutions portfolio, including the world-famous Linatex rubber. In this role, you will have the opportunity to create and execute the product strategy to keep Weir at the forefront of solving customer's reliability challenges on site in spools, hose, linings, and other applications. A key aspect of this role is developing a globally consistent product offering with a clear product lifecycle strategy to continually renew and optimize the portfolio in order to sustain and grow Weir’s market-leading position. Key Responsibilities: Accountable for driving the financial performance of the portfolio through successful product launches & product lifecycle management. Convene and coordinate meetings with the regional wear solutions product specialists, and work towards standardization of the global offering. Lead the establishment of globally standardized processes for the manufacture of wear solutions products such as mining hose. Maintain a strong understanding of the competitive landscape & provide strategies for regions to combat competitor activity. Initiate market-led and market-leading new product developments as the key product management leader for Wear Solutions, using the established New Product Introduction framework. Demonstrate visible and felt leadership, actively engaging with the team to inspire and motivate. Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience in marketing, business, or finance. Proven experience as a Product Manager in the mining manufacturing industry or a related field. Strong understanding of product development processes and methodologies. Excellent leadership and project management skills. Ability to analyze market data and translate insights into actionable strategies. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to travel internationally on a regular basis is required.
