This role offers a unique opportunity to hone your skills in economic analysis, econometric modeling, and market understanding, all within the context of a leading financial services firm.Job Responsibilities: Proactively meet the needs of clients and internal stakeholders Develop models for forecasting and analytics Process data and engage in programming tasks Write research notes, in-depth reports, and presentations Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills: Tertiary qualification in Economics, Finance, or a STEM discipline, ideally with honours Experience in an investment banking and/or markets research environment viewed favourably Outstanding communication skills for producing high-quality reports and presentations Familiarity with econometric and/or machine learning models Proficiency in data science skills, including programming in R, Python, and other languages Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills: Experience in developing analytical frameworks for financial markets viewed favourably Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail #J-18808-Ljbffr
