Description We are seeking to fill a Global Sourcing Manager role at our Solon, OH location. To be successful in this role, you will need: Experience in building and leading teams both as a direct functional manager and cross-functional leader Proven track record of success in leading cost negotiations with suppliers Ability to develop strong, collaborative, and influential working relationships with business stakeholders both externally and internally Analytical aptitude and resourceful problem solving Excellent presentation skills with the ability to both build and present Powerpoint content to management and executive levels of the organization Experience and passion for leading and developing global teams Willingness to travel internationally as needed KPI and tracker development skills Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills (Pivot Tables, Lookup formulas, If/Then statements) Duties and Responsibilities: Lead our company’s supplier sourcing strategy by aligning with key internal stakeholders (Product Management, Design, Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, and Finance) on capability, performance, and business needs of the supply base Own the development and execution of a multi-million-dollar sourcing cost-out funnel leading a team through supplier negotiations, competitive quoting, and cross functional project execution Manage, mentor, and develop a diverse, globally based team in the United States and Asia Identify capability gaps in our supply chain, find and develop strong supplier relationships that close those gaps and drive differentiation and competitive advantage for our brands Coach our supply base to deliver to the performance expectations of the organization by providing consistent and clear performance feedback, identifying root causes of performance issues, setting improvement expectations, and ensuring sustained impact of corrective actions Represent our supply chain’s functional perspective and strategy as a vocal leader in our New Product Introduction (NPI) stage-gate process Negotiate costs/purchasing terms and manage RFQ processes for respective product categories Maintain organized records and disciplined processes to deliver transparent and timely information to the organization on product costing, costed BOM details, supplier performance/capability, supplier business policy compliance, and savings accounting Skills and Experience: Education Bachelor of Arts/Science, MBA preferred At least 5 years’ experience in supply chain (Purchasing, Quality, Sourcing) with people management experience a plus; Engineering backgrounds also welcome Travel requirements: Domestic and International travel 15-20% (8-12 weeks per year) About Us: Coleto Brands is a dynamic collective of brands united by a commitment to enhancing spaces through design and functionality.
