About the opportunity Reporting into the Deputy Director, Alumni and Supporter Experience, we are looking for a Global Volunteers Manager to cover parental leave for 13 months. The Global Volunteers Manager is responsible for managing a global volunteer program for alumni and donors, with a focus on delivering value and return on investment for the University through a strategic and tiered volunteer engagement model. As such, we see the importance of recruiting talent aligned to these values and are looking for a Global Volunteers Manager who: Can manage strategic volunteering programs and develop, implement and manage frameworks to support volunteer recruitment, resourcing, retention and recognition. Is strategic in their thinking and an expert communicator. You will advise on industry trends, creative engagement initiatives and new technologies to enhance graduate tracking and communications. Is highly creative and enjoys idea generation and thinking outside the box. We are always looking at ways to creatively engage our most valued supporters, whether it’s through small events, written communications or videos. Has exceptional organisational and time-management skills, including the ability to prioritise and work within often very tight deadlines. Is an experienced leader who can mentor a team of professionals to achieve high standards of client service delivery and teamwork.
