Gold Room Supervisor – FIFO/DIDO or Residential ABOUT US – “Delivering Safe Economic Production.” Coil Group provides a comprehensive and all-inclusive solution for Clients aiming to optimise economic returns from brownfield or greenfield operations. A key to our success is securing an experienced Gold Room Supervisor to join our processing team located at our clients Tennant Creek operation in the Northern Territory. THE PROJECT Coil Group is responsible for the commissioning and ongoing operations and maintenance of Tennant Consolidated Mining Group’s (TCMG) Nobles Nob 840ktpa Gravity/CIL Processing Plant centred on the historic Nobles Nob mine site in the Northern Territory. The site is situated approximately 15km east of Tennant Creek, one of the historically highest-grade gold mining towns in Australia. We are assembling a core team to execute the commissioning, operation, maintenance, and ongoing optimisation of this newly relocated and rebuilt plant, with commissioning set to begin in March 2025. Backed by substantial resources and a highly driven owner, this role offers an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about making a significant impact from the ground up and helping shape the future of the business. THE ROLE Reporting to the Process Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and secure operation of the gold room, gravity, elution, and gold refining circuits. You will ensure operational security and supervise shift teams responsible for operation of the gold room and associated facilities. You will have experience in maintaining metallurgical accounting records for gold room production and outputs, as well as operating and maintaining Elution, Knelson, Gemini Table, Acacia, Electrowinning and barring furnace processes through to pouring Dore product. Additionally, the Gold Room supervisor will follow up appropriately on process deviations and equipment failures and have input into developing safe work instructions, completion of inspections, audits, and training of new personnel. This role is available for immediate start, on a 2:2 roster. Mobilisation will be from Tennant Creek, Darwin, Katherine, Alice Springs and Mt Isa, or on a residential roster with bonus. Interstate mobilisation available for the right applicant. DIDO options for local candidates will be considered. ABOUT YOU This role would suit a driven Gold Room Supervisor ready for the challenge.
