With more than 140,000 members, Engineers Australia is the voice of the profession, and we need you to help us drive mutual value for our members and industry partners.About The Role As our Governance Events Coordinator, you will manage and coordinate the delivery of Governance meetings and events, including Board, Committee, National Congress meetings and the Annual General Meeting.Locations Open to candidates nationwide, with a preference for Sydney, Melbourne or Adelaide.In This Role You Will Event Planning & Execution – Proven ability to plan and deliver high-quality meetings and events with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Technical & Hybrid Meeting Expertise – Experience with audiovisual components and hybrid event delivery, ensuring seamless execution. Professional Communication & Stakeholder Engagement – Confident communicator with the ability to build effective networks and work with senior executives and directors. Results-Driven & Adaptable – Highly motivated, outcomes-focused, and able to manage multiple priorities with a proactive, can-do attitude. Ethical & Flexible Approach – Strong commitment to confidentiality, professionalism, and the ability to adjust to workload demands, including interstate travel when required. Here’s What We’re Looking For End-to-End Event Management – Plan and execute Board, Committee, National Congress, AGM meetings, site visits, dinners, and related events. Logistics & Vendor Coordination – Manage venues, catering, IT, AV, travel, and accommodation logistics, liaising with internal and external stakeholders. Stakeholder Engagement – Work closely with the Board, executives, governance teams, and other departments to ensure seamless event delivery. Post-Event Evaluation & Process Improvement – Conduct debriefs, analyze feedback, and refine processes for continuous improvement. Project & Task Execution – Deliver high-quality work on assigned projects, ensuring alignment with Engineers Australia’s objectives and business outcomes. Why work for Engineers Australia?
