Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Governance and Integrity Officer to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring that Driver and Vehicle Services (DVS) aligns with the broader Department of Transport (DoT) compliance and integrity programs and objectives. You will act as a key liaison and provide strategic support to the Governance Integrity & Reform Manager. In this role, you will review and evaluate integrity and compliance programs, frameworks, policies, and procedures to identify gaps or areas requiring development. You will research, develop, and facilitate contemporary education and training programs and materials to enhance knowledge and promote understanding of compliance in the delivery of DVS services. You will provide support to the Governance Integrity & Reform Manager on matters pertaining to the oversight, management, and delivery of DVS compliance and integrity programs to drive positive change across the Department. You will assist the Governance Integrity & Reform Manager in the formation and maintenance of policies, plans, and frameworks related to DVS risk-based compliance activities and monitor the effectiveness of the Directorate’s outcomes. There is currently one (1) permanent full-time position available for immediate filling. Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments will be made for this or similar future vacancies (fixed term or permanent) that arise within the next 24 months from date of first appointment across the Department of Transport.
