Government & Industry Relations Manager x 2 Two exciting GR roles in global organisation Drive and enhance partnerships with government at every level Potentially based in Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra or Perth Our client is a service provider to Government and is seeking two experienced Government and Industry Relations Managers to join a dynamic newly restructured corporate affairs team. Reporting to the Director of Growth and Corporate Affairs, you will use your political nous to foster relationships with key stakeholders across Federal, State and Local governments, driving strategic engagement to support the business’s commercial and reputational goals. In this role, you will have a strong focus on developing and executing a comprehensive government relations strategy. You will monitor political and regulatory developments, advise internal teams on opportunities and risks, and shape government-facing proposals. Your ability to build and maintain relationships with ministers, MPs, and government agencies will be essential in advancing the organisation's strategic objectives. About the role: Build relationships with political leaders, government officials, and agencies. Provide strategic advice on political, regulatory, and policy developments. Lead submissions to parliamentary inquiries and stakeholder consultations. Support stakeholder mapping and analysis. Shape proposals and bids, integrating political insights. About You: Proven experience in government relations and a strong network in politics. Deep understanding of government processes and procurement. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. Strategic thinking and the ability to collaborate across teams. A degree in business, public policy, communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Experience with defence, tender processes, media relations and/or consultancy is highly desirable. Ability to travel is essential. We are looking for at least one of the candidates to have defence experience and one to have media/ communications experience in addition to GR expertise. Roles can be based in Sydney, Canberra, Perth or Melbourne. #J-18808-Ljbffr
