This will include discipline specific input into assessment, treatment and discharge planning both in the community and in the acute in-patient setting; completion of all relevant documentation; attendance at clinical and other relevant meetings; and liaison with family members or carers, staff across the Services, and community service providers. The Grade 1 Speech Pathologist will provide appropriate evidence-based assessment and intervention for communication and swallowing disorders for patients in these programs. The Grade 1 Speech Pathologist will be expected to undertake relevant training and learning opportunities. Bachelor or Master of Speech Pathology qualifying degree, and eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia Commitment to mental health consumer recovery including the delivery of quality, recovery focused mental health care.
