Job Description
Company: Gold Fields Group Services (Pty) Ltd Reporting to the Supervisor: Surface Production, you will be responsible for providing quality and timely grading services to support the safe haulage of ore and waste rock. Key Responsibilities: Always act in a manner that seeks to enhance the safety culture and performance of GFA and ensure that the Vital Behaviours are adhered to at all times. Cut and fill to levels, maintain clean smooth road surfaces, and manage drainage as required to alleviate ponding on roads. Ensure production goals are achieved by working collaboratively with the mining team. Assist in achieving budgeted maintenance targets by operating with care, providing preventative maintenance through scheduled inspections, servicing, adjustments, troubleshooting, and organising the timely repair of operated equipment. Increase the skills of the mining team by providing training and mentoring of operators. About You: At least 2 years’ experience in Surface Mining operations operating a grader (16H). Ability to complete repetitive tasks at a consistent standard.
