In this hands-on role, you’ll learn about the complexity of operations at a global business and what it takes to make everything run seamlessly. While you implement your team’s approach to drive productivity, you’ll also work closely with your colleagues to address challenges, which means no two days will be the same.Key job responsibilities: Promote a culture of safety and wellbeing. Analyze and implement corrective actions to ensure quality and productivity are at consistently high levels, and business objectives are met across all shifts. Support and lead a team while handling administrative work and building a strong team culture. Analyze performance and suggest process improvements to optimize work and improve customer service. Collaborate with other managers to standardize shift processes. A day in the life: Amazon couldn’t deliver at pace without the Amazon Transportation Service (ATS) team. As part of ATS, you’ll be welcomed into a diverse team that plays a central role in our success. Using air, sea, and road transport, as well as sortation centres equipped with the latest technology, you’ll help Amazon’s transport run at maximum efficiency. Our team captures data and uses it to drive decisions. They are key to making Amazon more innovative and efficient.We put safety first as our people are our priority. And we use the expertise of our people to get packages to their destination – quickly, conveniently, and sustainably.About the team: Amazon Extra Large (AMXL) looks after heavy items like furniture and large home appliances. Our team manages the entire service, from supply chain fulfilment to delivery and returns. What sets this service apart from others is the extra level of customer care. Not only do we deliver large items, but we unpack, assemble, and install them, and take away old items where needed. With a focus on safety, productivity, and innovation, we’re changing the way customers buy and receive large goods for the better.We have ambitious plans to expand our specialist fulfilment centres and delivery stations across the UK and Europe. While those of us who work in delivery stations will do some night shifts, most of us work during the day. Our team is made up of people across operations, supply chain, business intelligence, and programme management, and everyone plays a crucial role in growing this part of the business.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - Currently in final year and working towards a university degree (Bachelor's or Master's degree).- Advanced proficiency in written and verbal English and local language.- Relevant experience in performing data analysis. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Preferred qualifications are not required to apply for a position at Amazon.
