About the Role As a Graduate Electrical Engineer, you'll be offered a permanent role and get the opportunity to apply what you've studied - working in the field solving real-world challenges that span and extend beyond your discipline. You will gain valued experience in engineering design, reliability, and project management while rotating throughout different working areas. The Engineering teams have a strong working relationship with the mining assets and life cycle management team. There is a strong focus on preventative maintenance and delivering consistent results. Whether it is working underground, on HV projects, or in the Coal Handling preparation plants, your exposure to the full range of Electrical Engineering projects is unprecedented. You will be placed on a rotational program to experience multiple sites, fast-tracking your knowledge of our business and the industry. A typical day will involve working under the guidance of an experienced team, assisting with designing, developing, supporting the installation, operations, and maintenance of electrical systems for both open cut and underground mining operations.
