An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Graduate (or recently graduated) to join SLR’s Environmental Management, Permitting and Compliance team in Melbourne. The role will provide you with technical development day to day, while also providing the opportunity to be part of a structured learning program. It is intended that the graduate roles would commence in early 2025 as part of SLR’s industry leading graduate program upon completion of your university studies. Key Responsibilities The successful candidate will ideally be graduate level or have up to 2 years of experience , and be self-motivated, articulate, and reliable. This role will provide you with the opportunity to work alongside industry leaders across the region and support your technical growth within the wider SLR team. As part of a growing team in SLR, you will be responsible for carrying out services that include assisting with preparing tenders and proposals, providing advice to clients and colleagues, and working in an office-based environment, with the opportunity for some field-based activities. You will be supported by senior consultants to develop detailed knowledge and understanding of geotechnical methods and techniques to solve complex problems. Among many exciting and diverse projects, our Melbourne office is heavily involved in: Construction and Operational ManagementCommercial, Industrial and Infrastructure Construction approvals and compliance Audit and ComplianceCommercial, Industrial and Infrastructure permit and regulatory compliance Mining authorisations and complianceDevelopment and Operational approvals and compliance Management Plans / SystemsInfrastructure, Commercial, Industrial & Mining LicensingEnvironmental compliance and approvals RenewablesWind, Solar and Hydrogen projects.
