Who is Titan? Titan Advisory Group is an established valuation and buyers agency based in the inner western suburbs of Sydney. We provide property advice and negotiation services across NSW with a particular focus on Land Acquisition, Rating (Land Tax) type valuations as well as regularly undertaking expert witness engagements, easement matters, negotiation, family law matters, and generalist valuation services. Due to an internal promotion and organic growth of the business, we are looking for a new staff member to be based from our office at Leichhardt. The role is proposed to be part-time initially, working around your TAFE/University schedule with a view for the team member to go to full time upon completion of their studies. The Role The role offered is a rare opportunity to be closely mentored one-on-one with a clear path to a permanent valuation role at the end of the graduate/training period. You will be working from our office and closely with the director as well as on occasion with other staff in the office. We are offering an attractive remuneration package with an annual bonus based on KPI performance. As a graduate with Titan, we will teach you everything we know to ensure your success as a valuer. Responsibilities in the role will include (but are not limited to): Assisting in conducting residential and commercial valuations and preparation of reports within stipulated timeframes, in accordance with instructions and for various purposes; Assisting the Director in the preparation of background research for more complex commercial/industrial and specialised reports for litigation purposes; Assisting with buyers advocacy engagements, market research, attending open homes, auctions, and involvement in pre-purchase checks for residential and commercial properties; Adherence to quality reporting standards. What does our perfect applicant look like? You will be in your final year of a TAFE/University qualification in Property Valuation or Property Economics that leads to eventual Certified Practicing Valuer (CPV) membership with the Australian Property Institute (API) or Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). You have a great attitude and are willing to learn. You have a current driver's license and motor vehicle. Experience at another valuation firm or real estate agency will be viewed as an advantage.
