Thanks for stopping by and learning more about this role at Sitemate! ️ We’d love to hear from you. Brief overview of this role: We are looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our Sydney team, to help accelerate our growth in the Oceania region. This role would be perfect for you if you are an experienced SDR/BDR in both outbound and inbound sales motions. Everything at Sitemate is currently inbound, but we will be experimenting with outbound in future, and you could be a part of building out that process. This role would be great for you if you’ve already had some SDR/BDR experience and are looking to progress. Our inbound lead flow is constant, a dream for any SDR. Alternatively, if you have studied anything business-related, and are looking to start your professional career. Maybe you’ve had some casual sales, marketing or business experience whilst studying, and you’re looking to go full-time, if this is you please also get in touch! You’ll be working closely with the Director of Sales Development and colleagues within the SD function. You will be exposed to both of Sitemate’s founders and cross-functional teams, gaining a broad understanding of how the SaaS delivery model works. You won’t be expected to know anything about tech, or our customer’s industries in the built world - construction, utilities, renewables and building. A strong interest in tech and any prior exposure to these industries would help, but otherwise we’ll teach you everything. Employment: Full-time Based: Sydney, Australia Remuneration (incl. super/pension): AUD $75,000 - 110,000 Base Salary (incl. super/pension): AUD $50,000 - 70,000 Commission (incl. super/pension): AUD $25,000 - 40,000 Why should I consider joining Sitemate? We have equal opportunity for applicants of all genders, ethnicities, ages, sexualities & people with disabilities - Sitemate's team is proudly diverse and accessible. Our Sydney office in Haymarket has fantastic on-site facilities including a rooftop garden, wellness centre, showers and cycle storage. You will be remunerated based on your performance. If you are performing well, you won’t need to wait 3 years or have to find better offers elsewhere to receive an increase to your remuneration. You will get a laptop and a budget to set up your home office (monitor, headphones etc). You will have visibility into the standardised career development plan for your role, and access to a professional learning and development budget. Sitemate has grown from 5 people in 2018 to now over 100, and we’re moving into the next stage of growth! What is the working environment like at Sitemate? We are very transparent - monthly Allhands meetings provide the team with direct insight into team updates, customer stories, hiring plans and key metrics. We place an extremely high value on your time - you won’t be spending your days wasting time on fighting internal systems. You will have a high degree of autonomy, as the focus is on outcomes and not hours. What does Sitemate do, exactly? Sitemate builds best in class software products for the built world. Our first product - Dashpivot, is a platform where industrial style companies streamline and standardise their processes in a new digital format. What will I be doing day to day in this role? You will be qualifying and routing inbound leads through three channels; self service, inside sales and field sales. You’ll be spending most of your time with prospects across phone calls, emails and live chat on our website. Your quota is measured by the number of demonstrations booked and completed at the subsequent stage of the process. What will be the biggest challenges for me in this role? Learning about the built world if you haven’t had any exposure to it. Up-skilling your call/phone and email skills. Understanding SaaS financial acronyms and common terminology. PLEASE Note: If you go on our website and enter your email, you will become a lead in our CRM. To avoid this, you can watch videos directly here. We do not use recruitment partners or services, so please save your time and don't reach out. #J-18808-Ljbffr
