Graduate Accountant in Tax and Business Services We are a young, modern, and fast-growing advisory firm in Sydney. Our client base is diverse, from solo entrepreneurs with great ideas to medium-sized businesses with acquisition plans. We are client-focused at all times and dedicated to supporting them with a high standard of professional and ethical service. Our team continues to grow, and we are offering a full-time graduate accountant position. You will be trained in your tasks from the ground up with no experience necessary. This position will suit a recent graduate. Qualifications & Experience Close to completing an Accounting or Finance degree at University; or recently completed an Accounting or Finance degree at University and looking to commence CA/CPA studies. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken, with multilingual skills being a great advantage. Proficiency in using the Microsoft platform (OneDrive, Office 365, Outlook, Excel, Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint). Great attitude, smart, eager to learn, and personable, with a can-do spirit for helping people. Tasks & Responsibilities Work alongside the Principal assisting in daily tasks and client projects. Draft tax documents, such as GST returns, BAS, and tax returns using MYOB AO, including summarizing client data and workpapers in Excel. Update client SMSF accounts using SimpleFund360. Liaise with clients regarding lodgements, due dates, information requests, and correspondence via email and phone. Assist with internal administration tasks including manual/online systems and forms. Friendly team environment. Close to North Ryde Station and Macquarie University. Mentorship and training. Support to pursue your CA/CPA program.
