Reporting directly to the CEO and collaborating closely with the Leadership Team, you will identify, cultivate, and secure grants from a range of government, trust, foundation, and philanthropic bodies. You will also lead the creation of compelling proposals to secure new funding and support the continued success of our mission. Key Responsibilities: Research and identify new funding opportunities from trusts, foundations, and government agencies at the local, state, and national levels Build and nurture strong relationships with key grant funders and philanthropic partners Write high-quality, persuasive grant proposals and applications to secure financial support Collaborate with internal teams to gather data and impact evidence for applications and acquittals Stay informed on industry trends, funding opportunities, and best practices in grant writing Contribute to the development and refinement of the organisation's overall fundraising strategy About You: You are an experienced fundraising professional with a proven track record of success in securing grants. You are a skilled communicator who can write compelling proposals and foster long-term relationships with donors and partners. You are strategic, with the ability to analyse needs and opportunities while keeping the organisation’s mission at the forefront of your efforts. Essential Skills & Experience: 5 years experience in grant writing or related fundraising roles, with a proven track record of success Exceptional written communication skills and attention to detail Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively within a small, dynamic team A strategic thinker with a creative, entrepreneurial mindset Relevant tertiary qualifications in philanthropy, marketing, or management (desirable) How to Apply: Submit your updated resume and a brief cover letter explaining why this role is a great fit for you and your career goals.
