We are a progressive professional services firm seeking an experienced Group Accounting Manager to oversee our accounting teams across multiple sites in the stunning region of Central West New South Wales. Working closely with the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer, the role is ideal for someone who thrives on leadership, builds exceptional client relationships, drives performance outcomes, and fosters strong working relationships and collaboration. You will be responsible for: Leading and managing the accounting team to ensure efficiency, collaboration, achievement of targets, and high performance. Overseeing a client portfolio, ensuring exceptional customer service, profitability, and achievement of goals. Driving workflow planning, process improvements, and technology adaptation to provide efficiencies and enhancement to the team and clients. Developing team performance through strong leadership, outlining clear expectations and providing ongoing support. Contributing to the development of business strategy in pursuit of shaping continuous improvement and progress of business outcomes. Building exceptional client relationships to ensure service delivery is maximised and client satisfaction is exceeded. To be successful in the role you will have: Relevant tertiary qualifications with CA/CPA accreditation. Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance. Exceptional leadership experience, with demonstrated experience in leading, motivating, and developing a diverse team of accountants to deliver high performance. High levels of communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for delivering exceptional experiences for team members and clients. Ability to think beyond numbers, proactively work with clients, and understand business operations, efficiency, and growth strategies. Proven commercial awareness to identify opportunities to enhance client services and business outcomes. Strong technology skills with experience in system implementation and optimisation to deliver business efficiencies and continuous improvement.
