The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Corporate Accountant to join our dynamic Shared Services Finance team, based in Glendenning. Though it is a 15 months maternity leave cover contract, this is your chance to leave a lasting impact at Kinrise. The role offers you the opportunity to make a real impact, collaborate closely with other teams across the business, and enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid working model. The successful candidate will commence on or around April 2025, with a thorough handover provided to ensure a smooth transition and success over the next 15 months.What's in it for you? Reporting to the Group Accounting & Tax Manager, you'll be a key contributor to the business success by providing critical analysis and insights as well as being the key interface for external Auditors. We are looking for someone who thrives in innovation to introduce fresh ideas to streamline our finance processes and enhance efficiency whilst supporting monthly, half and full year financial reporting cycles.How you will make a difference: Statutory Financial & Regulatory reporting, including preparation of Financial Statements for multiple operating entities & Consolidated group Management and preparation of external audits, coordination with auditors and cross-functional teams Balance sheet reconciliations Preparation of reports under the Payments Times Reporting Scheme and ABS (Australian Bureau of Statistics) reporting Assist with Direct/Indirect taxes governance & compliance, including calculation of Instalment Income for monthly PAYG, Yearly Tax Return preparation and monthly analysis of tax-sensitive GL accounts Prepare working papers for monthly BAS lodgements and yearly FBT Return collation Manage Payroll tax processes Assist in bank related administration, reporting & analysis. Assist in yearly insurance renewal program Manage assets transactions during their entire lifecycle including creation of capex orders, asset capitalization, depreciation, disposal Manage accurate recording and reporting of Fixed Assets, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies through regular reviews and reconciliations Manage lease accounting under AASB 16 What you'll bring to Kinrise: You will hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting You will hold CA / CPA with 2 to 3 years post-qualification relevant experience You will have experience in working with SAP and is advanced in Microsoft Excel You will experience in statutory financial reporting and have an understanding and exposure to Australian taxes You have strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills You thrive in working in a fast-paced environment and able to prioritise your tasks Are you a detail-oriented and results-driven professional passionate about delivering financial excellence?
