About the opportunity We’re pleased to invite applications for the newly created position of Group Employee Experience Manager as part of our growing People team in Adelaide SA. Based in Hindmarsh, SA and reporting to the Executive General Manager, People, your key focus will be to review, design, implement and continuously improve the employee experience. Your experience collaborating globally to drive People strategy is critical. As a key member of the People leadership team, you’ll partner with subject matter experts across the function to eliminate common pain points, refining and improving processes that include recruitment and selection, onboarding, capability and career development, and performance management. Using the optimized employee experience, you’ll develop a compelling Employee Value Proposition (EVP) combining the benefits of working at Detmold with strong culture and identity, diversity and inclusion, and psychosocial safety to assist us in engaging with, attracting, and retaining great people. Your growth mindset, proven success in transformational change, and people-centric leadership will be keys to your success. Responsibilities are broad and include: Talent Acquisition & Management Lead and support the Talent Acquisition team. Undertake end-to-end recruitment activities. Develop the Talent strategy (Attract, Develop, Retain). Define and lead group strategy to develop the Group Employee Value Proposition. Manage the global Applicant Tracking System including monthly reporting. Work with the People Partnering team to support workforce planning. Talent Development/Diversity Ensure the global deployment of the functional and Leadership Capability curriculum. Own and drive global Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) agenda principles. Support the delivery of key people strategies including Talent Mapping and the Performance Review cycle. Global internal communications/Engagement/Wellbeing Embed the Group Internal Communications Strategy. Drive the continuous improvement of internal communications. Ensure organisational initiatives and projects are successfully communicated to employees globally. Ensure the accurate delivery of the Global Group Engagement Survey and identify areas for improvement. Analyse and provide insights to drive key action plans to address employee concerns and improve workplace culture. Design and implement strategies and initiatives to improve employee engagement, satisfaction, and commitment. About you What you’ll need: Extensive experience in a similar role in a large, complex, global organisation. Proven success in leading a team of 4 direct reports. A track record in building high performing and cohesive teams. Experience in developing and implementing an EVP. The ability to collaborate with regional and global stakeholders to achieve common goals. Proven success in managing and influencing change. Practical experience in scoping and discovery, research and analysis, journey mapping, design and delivery, and evaluation of employee experience processes. Highly developed stakeholder engagement skills. The ability to handle confidential and sensitive matters with objectivity and discretion. A current training accreditation.
