As a Group Engineering Manager to join our Consumer Division, you will be responsible for shaping the Property Search experience and driving the technology strategy across multiple squads within our team. As a key member of the Crew leadership team, you will collaborate closely with Product, Delivery, and Design leaders to define and align on product and technology strategies, roadmaps, and technology delivery. This is a high-impact role where you will lead the development of both backend and front-end solutions to maintain and evolve our Search Platform, with a focus on creating exceptional user experiences across Web, iOS, and Android platforms. Who are you? The ideal candidate will… Develop a 1-2 year technology strategy and roadmap aligned with company vision and objectives. Oversee the design, development, and delivery of innovative technology solutions, ensuring alignment with product and business goals. Proactively monitor market trends, technical advancements, and customer metrics to continuously evolve the technology roadmap. Ensure the security, integrity, and ongoing health of the services under your team’s purview, including managing the tech debt backlog. Drive initiative planning, resource allocation, risk management, and stakeholder communication to guarantee high-quality, timely delivery. Lead, manage, and mentor a diverse team of engineering professionals, including Tech Leads, Principal Engineers, and Engineers, across multiple squads. Strong background in both backend and front-end technologies (Web, iOS, Android). In-depth understanding of agile engineering processes, product quality, security, and performance management.
