Reporting to the Managing Director, this role is for someone with superior expertise and experience in corporate communications and reputation management; an understanding of investor and financial comms; a team and agency leader in possession of a strategic and curious mindset; and a motivated, energetic entrepreneurial spirit who can target, hunt and win new business. What You’ll Do As the agency’s leader of Corporate Communications and Investor Relations, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering strategies that protect and enhance client reputations, promote stakeholder trust, and drive business growth. Corporate Communications Your expertise will be mainstream to the delivery of all elements of WE’s corporate communications offer, including but not limited to, reputation management (build, nurture, protect, defend), advisory and programs for crisis management, internal and external stakeholder communications, executive communications, and public affairs. Investor Communications Additionally, you will work with and guide your most senior direct report (the Head of Investor Communications) in their delivery of services to support capital raises, IPOs, mergers and acquisitions, transactional communications, and stakeholder/shareholder engagement. This is a senior leadership position where no two days are the same. Working closely with the Managing Director and senior team, your responsibilities will be split across three exciting areas: Advisory and counsel – working on the tools Provide high-level strategic oversight, consultancy, and execution on major accounts Champion the development and delivery of WE’s core service offerings Nurture and build current client relationships to identify gaps, new opportunities or add value Team and agency leadership Lead and mentor a team of talented professionals, setting the bar for excellence Play a pivotal role in strategic and operational planning, and people and culture initiatives Drive collaboration across teams to deliver integrated communication solutions and foster positive teamwork and culture Serve as key member of the Executive Management Team, responsible for contributing to agency-wide success and strategic objective mapping and achievement Business Development Be a driving force in identifying and winning new business opportunities Build deep, meaningful relationships with current clients, potential clients and related stakeholders Shape and pitch transformative proposals that align with clients’ objectives You’ll need to have Significant senior-level experience in the corporate communications and reputation management field A strategic mindset with the ability to oversee complex projects while staying hands-on as required Deep knowledge of PR, communications, and the ever-changing media and communications landscape Proven business development skills with the ability to create and nurture prospects and client relationships and win new clients and build revenue Proven leadership skills with a passion for mentoring and developing talent Substantive and proven financial acumen, including the ability to manage a team P&L, interpret data and manage client account financials Why Join WE?
