Discover Your Next Role As Grower Marketing Relationship Manager, you'll be the key connection between Wilmar Sugar & Renewables and local sugarcane growers. You'll provide expert pricing advice, share valuable market insights, and boost grower engagement through events and initiatives. Your role will go beyond relationship management—you'll identify new business opportunities, help shape strategic plans, and contribute to innovative pricing solutions that strengthen our regional presence. This position will be based in Sarina, an idyllic location in tropical North Queensland, known for its stunning landscapes, rich cultural heritage, and a vibrant community. Your Role in Action Build Strong Grower Relationships: Develop and maintain trusted connections with local sugarcane growers, providing ongoing support and guidance. Plan Strategic Engagements: Create and manage an annual engagement plan based on grower needs and business priorities to ensure meaningful, timely interactions. Drive Business Growth: Identify new opportunities to strengthen grower relationships, promote products and services, and expand market reach. Stay Informed: Keep up with industry trends, competitor activities, and seasonal factors that influence grower decisions and market dynamics. Foster Grower Communities: Lead grower forums, such as young grower groups and women in sugar networks, and represent the business at industry events to build strong community connections. Manage Grower Insights: Maintain accurate records of grower interactions, track feedback, and provide insights on market trends and industry developments. Collaborate & Support the Team: Work closely with the broader team, mentor new colleagues, and contribute to the development of marketing strategies and best practices. Your Winning Combination Our ideal candidate will have relevant tertiary qualifications in agriculture, business, finance, or economics or equivalent practical experience, along with at least three years of demonstrated experience in a similar role. A proven track record of delivering excellent customer service and strengthening relationships through proactive product and service offerings is essential.
