Job Description
As a Guidewire Business Analyst, you will be responsible for planning and conducting requirements workshops, creating detailed documentation, and acting as a liaison between functional leads, development teams, and support teams. You will support UAT sessions, production releases, and work closely with the QA team to ensure comprehensive test coverage. Your expertise in the Guidewire Suite, particularly PolicyCenter with Advanced Product Designer, and your knowledge of the insurance business and integrations will be crucial. You will also need strong skills in agile methodologies, user story creation, and defect-ticketing software. Key Responsibilities: Plan and prioritize requirements for sprints, demonstrate OOTB products, and provide solutions. Conduct requirements workshops with business SMEs. Create user stories, use cases, functional requirements, wireframes, and system flow diagrams. Analyze the impact of business process changes on technical requirements. Clarify requirements for the development team. Act as a liaison between functional leads, development teams, and support teams. Support UAT sessions and production releases. Collaborate with the QA team to ensure accurate and comprehensive test cases. Qualifications: Expert knowledge of Guidewire Suite, especially PolicyCenter with Advanced Product Designer. Proficiency in Xmind and product management in Guidewire APD. Understanding of insurance business functional areas and GW solutions. Knowledge of integrations with internal and external applications. Hands-on experience with digital portals like Customer Engage, Producer Engage, GPA, AMP, and Claims portal. Thorough knowledge of agile methodologies. Strong skills in writing user stories, acceptance criteria, use cases, and wireframes. Experience with defect-ticketing software (e.g., Rally, JIRA).
