Job Description

Looking for a HCM SAP Technical Architect who is responsible for the program's technical solutions and integration capabilities. This role involves close collaboration with the program team, internal technology units, and the program's solution implementation partner. The Technical stream covers environment management, custom solution development, internal and external integrations, technical architecture, data migration, and deployment . Reporting to the HCM Technical Director , the HCM SAP Technical Architect will work closely with technical teams and supplier resources, focusing primarily on integrations and custom development within the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) . Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement custom applications and integrations using SAP BTP services, ensuring they align with the broader SAP HCM architecture and business strategy. Work closely with functional teams and external suppliers to translate HCM business needs into technical specifications for BTP-based solutions. Evaluate technical designs for custom extensions and integrations, enforcing best practices to ensure maintainability, scalability, and performance. Develop integration strategies that seamlessly connect HCM solutions with SAP ECC, SuccessFactors, Employee Central, bespoke systems, and external platforms . Ensure all integrations are feasible, scalable, and secure . Identify gaps in existing technology solutions and evaluate vendor offerings to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture goals and improve system interoperability. Provide technical expertise on complex solution design and integrations , ensuring alignment with departmental standards, policies, and strategic initiatives . Oversee vendor relationships and manage technology roadmaps to support effective integration strategies and long-term business objectives. Offer architectural guidance for integration challenges , document integration blueprints, and ensure adherence to governance policies and best practices. Define integration strategies, reference architectures, and technical governance frameworks for SAP BTP development to maintain consistency with approved standards and patterns . Essential Skills: Proven experience overseeing architecture and software engineering for custom SAP BTP application development. Expertise in designing side-by-side extensibility and integration solutions for SAP cloud applications, particularly SuccessFactors and SAP BTP. Experience in establishing development standards for custom extensions within the SAP BTP environment. Proficiency in solution governance for custom integrations and extensions. At least 5 years of experience in integration architecture, with a focus on enterprise-level projects (HCM is preferred). Familiarity with A2A (Application to Application) and B2B (Business to Business) integration models. Hands-on experience with cloud integration platforms such as SAP Cloud Integration Suite and Mulesoft. In-depth knowledge of integration architecture patterns, methodologies, and best practices. Demonstrated success in evaluating and integrating complex solutions within engineering or digital transformation projects is desirable. Extensive experience identifying technology gaps, assessing vendor solutions, and implementing effective integration strategies is desirable. Proven ability to align technology solutions with business goals, fostering innovation, and improving system interoperability is desirable. Expertise in evaluating solutions, conducting feasibility assessments, analyzing scalability, managing vendor relationships, and developing technology roadmaps is desirable. Strong analytical abilities to evaluate technology solutions and ensure their alignment with the organization's strategic objectives is desirable. In-depth knowledge of solutions architecture, system interoperability, and integrating various technologies to fulfill organizational requirements is desirable.
