HIIT and Strength Coach (FIIT30)/Fitness Coach Opportunity for more hours, depending on certifications. Full training and support + free Fernwood membership. About the role Confidently lead Fernwood’s signature FIIT30 small and larger group training classes (8-12 women per class), while encouraging and assisting members to use correct technique when working towards their individual health and fitness goals. Motivate and cheer on members as you guide them through premium 30-minute HIIT workouts. As a fitness coach, support all new members through their first few weeks at the club and direct them towards a training solution that is right for them, playing a significant role in member retention. Deliver and manage induction processes and model conversions into ongoing and new programs, while creating and fostering a sense of community within our clubs. About you You’re a woman with a commitment to excellence, a positive can-do attitude, and are a natural motivator. Passionate about fitness, wellness, and women’s health, with prior experience in the health and fitness industry. Availability of varying classes throughout the week. Skills & experience Proven experience as a Personal Trainer or Group Fitness instructor with relevant qualifications. Minimum Certificate 3 in Fitness. Current Level 2 First Aid Certificate and membership with National/State Fitness Association. Exceptional interpersonal skills, solid instructing skills, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships. Culture Fernwood Fitness is built around community.
