Department Description The Department of State Growth in Tasmania was established to drive economic growth and support the community, industry, and business in creating jobs and opportunities for Tasmanians. The department works across various sectors including investment attraction, transport, infrastructure, cultural industry, tourism, skills training, international relations, science, technology, resources, energy, and regional development. Role Description Support and advise on the efficient management of the department's Human Resource (HR) information systems, identifying practical solutions to meet various project, system, operational, and reporting needs. Duties Undertake research and analysis of human resources related data to enhance the department’s HR information systems and reporting capabilities, ensuring high quality service and identifying areas for improvement. Collaborate with the Manager Operational Services to manage and administer the Department’s HR systems and reporting requirements. Develop and maintain various HR reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders, including the identification of trends, issues and provision advice to management based on analysis of the data. Provide appropriate training, documentation, advice and support to stakeholders on HR system functionality, reporting requirements and data analysis. Undertake quality assurance and data integrity activities to ensure efficient and accurate payroll, recruitment and establishment service. Identify opportunities and assist in the development, implementation and review of broader business services improvement initiatives, including system integration.
