Who You Are As the HR Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading our people operations, while helping create an exceptional employee experience that fosters engagement, growth, and wellbeing. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute HR strategies and projects aligned with business priorities. Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding. Foster a positive and engaging workplace culture that aligns with True Protein’s values. Oversee payroll, benefits administration, and HR compliance with relevant legislation. Maintain employee records, policies and HR systems, ensuring data integrity and compliance with legal and company policies. Handle workplace investigations, grievances, and conflict resolution with professionalism and fairness, coordinating with senior leadership where necessary. Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, offering insights on workforce planning and organisational development. Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies, employee relations, and compliance matters. Coach and mentor leaders to enhance their people management capabilities. Develop and drive learning and development programs to support employee growth. Lead change management efforts and support business transformation initiatives. Leverage AI to streamline HR processes and improve efficiency. What We Are Looking For Proven experience as an HR Manager. Experience in setting up and running an HR department independently. Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and compliance in Australia. Demonstrated ability to create, execute, and review HR strategies, initiatives, and programs. Proven experience in project management, change management, and leadership coaching. Ability to build and nurture a high-performing, values-driven company culture. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate sensitive and complex employee relations matters with professionalism and discretion. Ability to effectively onboard, integrate, and implement HR tools and systems. Highly autonomous and capable of making informed decisions while balancing multiple priorities. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, preferably in e-commerce, retail, or a related industry.
