About the Role Liberty Industrial is seeking an experienced and highly skilled HSEQ Manager (FIFO 2/1) from Perth to oversee health, safety, environment, and quality (HSEQ) initiatives at our upcoming projects in North West Australia, commencing mid-April. Job Description The Opportunity Our upcoming large-scale decommissioning and remediation projects will be undertaken in challenging site environments and will encompass: The safe removal of hazardous materials Deconstruction of infrastructure Strict adherence to environmental and safety regulations As the HSEQ Manager , you will be instrumental in leading safety and quality initiatives, ensuring a safe working environment, and embedding a culture of continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and continuously improve HSEQ policies and management systems Conduct audits, risk assessments, and major incident investigations Ensure full compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and best practices Lead and develop the HSEQ team, fostering a proactive and safety-first culture Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, and stakeholders to align HSEQ objectives Provide expert advice and support on all project-related HSEQ matters Lead investigations and implement strategies to drive continuous improvements in safety and quality performance Develop and deliver training programs to enhance workforce safety awareness and competency Desired Skills and Experience Minimum of 5 years of HSEQ management experience in mining, oil & gas, construction or civil sectors Advanced Diploma or higher in WHS/OHS Demonstrated experience in leading and developing successful HSEQ teams – (highly regarded) Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring abilities Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (highly regarded) Proven ability to conduct and manage major investigations Previous experience working on Rio Tinto projects (highly desirable) Proficiency in HSEQ management systems and reporting tools Strong understanding of risk management principles and compliance frameworks Why Join Liberty Industrial?
