Through delivery of WA Health’s Critical Health ICT Infrastructure Program (CHIIP) to replace all WA Health’s LAN infrastructure to ensure the highest level of network security, WA Health will move to an Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) model. This builds upon the work completed to modernise ICT foundations and enable next steps to implement the WA Health Digital Strategy 2020-2030. As a result, the Network Infrastructure Team will be transitioning from directly managing the network to working with contractors to provide strategic direction & policy and manage performance and contracts by: Providing full network services to WA Health Service Providers (HSPs), including architecture, policy/standards, network administration, contract management, performance monitoring and service assurance; Managing the GovNext-ICTCUA contract with the prime contractor(s) and manage this relationship on behalf of all HSPs. The Prime Contractor will provide IaaS LAN services to WA Health entities through using HSS managed policy and standards. The Team is therefore looking for experienced ICT professionals to fill multiple vacancies to support WA Health’s Local Area Network (LAN) infrastructure to ensure the highest level of network security is provided to HSS customers. Role Specific Selection Criteria - G9 Senior Network Consultant Demonstrated experience in monitoring performance of contemporary network solutions contracts, engaging with vendors and ensuring achievement of agreed performance and ongoing growth of relationships. Well-developed conceptual and analytical skills including the ability to provide innovative solutions to resolve complex problems and issues. Considerable experience in providing leadership and management within a large, complex ICT working environment. Role Specific Selection Criteria - G9 Service and Assurance Lead Considerable experience in providing leadership, management and service assurance within a large, complex ICT working environment. Demonstrated experience in managing networks service management solutions, capacity planning and delivery while ensuring they remain aligned with relevant best practice, standards, and legal / regulatory requirements. Demonstrated experience in monitoring performance of ICT network service engaging with vendors and ensuring achievement of agreed performance and on-going growth of relationships.
