Harvesting Operations Manager Location: Papua New Guinea Exciting leadership opportunity in the forestry sector! Roblawmax Recruitment is seeking an experiencedHarvesting Operations Manage r to oversee the efficiency and productivity of logging and harvesting operations in Papua New Guinea. This key leadership role is responsible for supervising multiple harvesting sites, optimizing resource transport, and ensuring compliance with forestry regulations. The Role Reporting to the Harvesting Manager, you will be responsible for: Managing daily operations across multiple harvesting sites Ensuring production targets of 130,000m³ annually (11,000m³ per month) Optimizing equipment usage, including Log Fishers, Skidders, Dozers, and other heavy machinery Monitoring performance metrics, identifying efficiency improvements, and implementing solutions Liaising with forestry authorities and resource department officials Supervising and mentoring teams, fostering a strong team-based culture Key Requirements 5+ years of senior experience in log harvesting operations Expertise with heavy logging equipment (Log Fishers, Skidders, Dozers) Proven leadership and supervisory skills Ability to train and develop staff Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities Hands-on approach with a strong work ethic Computer literacy Why Join?
