Job Description
Full time Barista Wanted: Dish & Spoon is a suburban specialty coffee café located on Highfield road in Camberwell. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to gain experience with specialty coffee or already is experienced in this field. At Dish & Spoon we pride ourselves on the high standard of our coffee using all brewing techniques, which include filter (hot and cold) and espresso (multiple single origins and alternative roasts) using a Mahlkoenig EK43. While training will be provided on these instruments, prior knowledge is a plus. This role requires a solid understanding of coffee and grind adjustment, while also requiring latte art skills and a strong work ethic. Applicants must be able to produce consistent high quality products in a suitable time frame in a busy cafe, while also being clean, tidy and calm. High volume experience is a must. The successful applicant will be joining a friendly, hard working close group of staff and must be a well-presented, approachable and a friendly person who is able to work both individually and as part of a vibrant team.
