We are currently seeking an experienced, motivated, and enthusiastic Head Chef to be part of our fantastic Food & Beverage team at our Alice Ross-King Care Centre aged care facility located on the Air Force Memorial Estate in Bull Creek . This role will see you lead an experienced kitchen team in providing nutritious and tasty meals to the 102 residents at our Alice Ross-King Care Centre and the 62 residents at her sister site, Gordon Lodge, located on the same Estate. The Role and You: You will maintain a well-equipped commercial kitchen ensuring you meet the requirements of all residents; You will efficiently and effectively assist in managing staff and budgetary requirements to deliver a superior quality of food; Maintain a hands-on approach in food preparation and lead from the front in terms of a safe and quality meal service; Assist with stock control and rotation of stores; Take responsibility for the safety of the kitchen using management systems; Demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement; Manage the resources of the kitchen in accordance with policies, procedures, and regulations; Working knowledge of Food Safety (HACCP) guidelines and regulations; Demonstrable experience in a similar role in Aged Care; Ability to deliver outcomes in a commercial kitchen environment.
