The Brisbane Lions are seeking to appoint a passionate and skilled Head Chef/Kitchen Manager to join our Hospitality team! This full-time role is based at Brighton Homes Arena in Springfield Central , a cutting-edge Elite Sports Performance Facility where excellence and innovation are part of our business, both on and off the field. Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, you will have the encouragement and support to apply your expertise to deliver a high-quality hospitality experience for athletes, staff, clients, and fans in our dynamic environment. About the Role: As our Head Chef/Kitchen Manager, you’ll oversee kitchen and catering operations for our on-site café, Roar Espresso, and all events held at Brighton Homes Arena, including athlete catering, private functions and game day hospitality. Your responsibilities will include: Ensure timely preparation and service delivery of meals across both outlets Management of all kitchen supplies, inventory and stock control Ensure all kitchen operations comply with food hygiene, safety regulations and HACCP guidelines Menu engineering to ensure both menus are up to date with current food trends Work alongside the Football department to ensure player menus are aligned with their nutritional intakes Manage and train kitchen staff to continue their development and growth as Chefs Manage kitchen rosters and timesheets ensuring alignment with budgetary parameters This role offers the advantage of flexible rostering, aligned with the dynamic schedule of our sports and entertainment precinct. Due to the nature of our business, the ideal candidate must be available to work odd hours, including weekends. It is a hands-on position with a strong focus on customer service, perfect for a motivated individual ready to embrace new challenges in a high-energy, professional, and rewarding workplace.
