Job Description

Head of Operations – Operator of Land Lease Communities for over 55s You will be acting as the Head of Operations for Clifton Lifestyle, a privately-owned developer, owner and operator of Land Lease Communities for over 55s. Your responsibilities as Head of Operations will include: Responsibility for the financial performance of all of Clifton Lifestyle’s operating assets. Leading a team of on-site Community Managers, and providing them with guidance, support and direction as required. Ensuring Clifton Lifestyle’s ongoing compliance with all legislative and regulatory requirements and company policies. Oversee ongoing implementation of health and safety policies and compliance with all WH&S obligations. Overseeing the continued evolution and enhancement of Clifton Lifestyle’s systems and processes, including the use of new technologies to optimise outcomes. Actively driving ongoing improvements in customer experience and satisfaction. Managing Clifton Lifestyle’s Human Resources needs, and ongoing insurance coverage. Overseeing the continued evolution and enhancement of the legal agreements which support Clifton Lifestyle’s operations. Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Fostering a collaborative and harmonious culture within the organisation. Other related activities as required. Timing: We are hoping for the successful candidate to commence as soon as possible. Location: The successful candidate will be based in our Sydney head office (currently located in Double Bay, but moving to Bondi Junction mid-year). Hours: The hours of work are Monday to Friday - 9.00am to 5.00pm. The Ideal Candidate: 5+ years of experience in a senior Operations role with leadership of a team and responsibility for the financial performance of a business essential pre-requisites for the role. Other key attributes: Proven leadership experience Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills High level of professionalism High level of attention to detail Understanding of the retirement sector and specifically land lease communities is a positive, but not essential.
