Job Description

Head of Business Planning, Operations and Governance Date: 25 Feb 2025 Location: SYDNEY, NSW, AU, 2000 Employment Type: Permanent Full Time The opportunity to join our team Lead a team across a large division to develop and support implementation of strategic business plans for the Customer and Advice Division. You will manage the ongoing operations of the division to ensure a safe, smooth and fast delivery of workflow, while also managing risk governance and controls to contribute to the organisation’s long-term success. Collaborating with strategy and leadership teams, you will develop comprehensive business plans incorporating market and competitive analysis, financial projections, and strategic recommendations. You will design and implement workflow delivery models to enhance transparency and efficiency, lead the planning team to support strategic projects, and manage change delivery and reporting. Additionally, you will track key performance indicators, oversee risk management initiatives, ensure timely reporting with key stakeholders, and partner with senior leadership to drive transformation initiatives. What you will bring Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. Minimum 7 years managing operational divisions, with expertise in business planning, strategy development, risk oversight, and budget management. At least 5 years in a Head Of or senior leadership role, with the ability to develop a divisional roadmap autonomously. Minimum 7 years in the Wealth Management industry, with a strong understanding of the regulatory environment. Superannuation experience preferred but not essential. Proven experience working with senior-level stakeholders and preparing/delivering executive-level content. Deep understanding of Line 1 and Line 2 risk functions, control implementation, and oversight, along with experience developing and rolling out Agile processes with measurable impact.
