Grow with us We are now looking for a Head of CU Australia & New Zealand who is responsible for general and broad managerial tasks within the framework of Ericsson Group Policies and Directives. Securing borderless cooperation, capturing synergies and business opportunities as well as optimizing use of resources. To drive “one Ericsson” implementing market and product strategies securing profitable growth.You will report to SVP & Head of MA SE Asia Oceania & India. You will have an opportunity to work with several members of the Executive Team, Key customers for the CU and respective global units and deliver impact across multiple parts of Ericsson.Your Responsibilities Include: Secure short and long-term profitable business for Ericsson for Australia & New Zealand. Business development and management of Ericsson resources based on fundamental understanding of the customers’ business, operations, and objectives. Act as a thought leader and position Ericsson as a strategic partner, critical to customer success. Advocate for the customer and partner closely with BA’s and Domains; leverage deep connections to influence inside Ericsson in order to deliver on commitments. Effectively lead and manage a large team of direct and dotted line resources supporting the CU. Represent Ericsson at external fora. Establish thought leadership and demonstrate complete understanding of local market. Be a part of the MA leadership team. Contribute to agreeing MA priorities. Have an MA-wide view, while representing the CU ANZA perspective and lead roll out 5G network. To be successful in the role you must have: A credible business leader with solid experience and ability to operate independently. Strong people leadership skills, proven through strong voice results and personal references. Inclusive leadership style to orchestrate full Ericsson organization effectively (domains, common functions etc.). Experienced in working with demanding customers. Ability to manage business in developing as well as high-risk countries and drive ethics and compliance adherence throughout the organization. Able to lead a distributed, diverse, multi-cultural and matrix organization, demonstrated thought leadership and lead sales team in terms of collaboration, accountability and one Ericsson mindset managing cross MA interests effectively. Ensure full adherence to Ericsson sales process and ethics & compliance directives, cultural sensitivity, and adaptation. Lead beyond own function as co-owner and member of the Market Area Leadership Team. Experience leading large teams, including direct and dotted line reports, and employee and contractor resources. Proven ability to motivate and align large cross-functional, matrixed teams striving towards the same goal. Superior analytical and problem-solving skills; solutions-oriented; able to balance short and long-term priorities. Track record of consistently delivering superior business results; decisive and clear thinking. Open to new ideas, accepts challenges and leads with optimism; considers culture and understands how to implement culture change. Able to foster a high-energy, customer-centric, performance-driven team. Able to engage and motivate employees, develop and secure talent; known for building high performing teams. Effectively contribute to MA leadership team. Able to make dispassionate choices in MA interest. Sales/ Customer • Understand & support customer’s business ambitions and expectations, proactively looking to build strong customer relationships by setting the agenda for current & future strategies and investments, as well as ensuring smooth deliveries on our projects.• Excellent knowledge of customer’s business and challenges across the markets including macro-economic influencers. Work closely with customer to identify new business opportunities, ensuring business growth and profitability with a win-win approach.• Strategic influencer and advisor to C-level (business strategy, technology, roadmap and growth).• Deep understanding of operator business processes, including the ability to add value not just to the customer’s engineering and IT functions, but to the customer’s finance, care, marketing and strategy organizations. Ability to demonstrate complete understanding of Ericsson portfolio. Strong awareness of the Telco market, global and local trends.• Experience with a large Ericsson customer is desired. Proven track record of building strong customer relationships. Proven ability to drive out of the box thinking, including understanding and developing financially complex business models. Functional/ Technical • Demonstrated technical expertise related to radio and spectrum, and experience advising customers on the best, win-win solution. Extensive experience of Ericsson products and services including broad understanding of new product introductions, building jointly with customer very effective network evolution plans.• Developed analytical skills; identify trends, inefficiencies, and value realization opportunities.• Proven experience delivering large network roll-out projects, including experience managing hundreds of sites per week. Proven experience in strategic planning, tactical planning, business, and project management. Other unique requirements • Ability to build relationships with new stakeholders, as Ericsson ANZA business will potentially grow in the times to come, so ability to handle scale and ambiguity is critical.• Ability to deal with global stakeholders and should have performed a significant and complex customer facing role. In addition to being a strong sales professional, the incumbent needs to be able to guide the domain teams (Networks, NS and CSS) with regards to his customers.• Ability to work with people of different cultures and backgrounds, establish deep personal relationships with customers and DRs and should have led a team of strong and mature sales professionals. Key Qualifications: Education: The ideal candidate will have supported a large customer and demonstrated experience in a significant part of the full Ericsson portfolio. Relevant years of experience with a minimum of 5 years senior leadership experience, and broad-based telecommunications industry knowledge. Join our Team Why join Ericsson?
