Reporting to the General Manager Customer & Community, the Head of Commercial and Industrial Services will play a key role in the commercial and strategic management of all non-residential customers of TasWater across the state. You will focus on delivering an exceptional customer experience to all commercial and industrial (C&I) customers, delivering valued service, revenue integrity, and environmental compliance, while carefully managing the immediate contractual and commercial requirements of the role with the long-term strategic business direction. You will manage complex pricing and contractual agreements with high-profile C&I customers to deliver mutually beneficial outcomes, increasing trust and satisfaction through exceptional relationship management. Compliance and regulatory outcomes will be front of mind, as will environmental sustainability. You will play a lead role in trade waste reforms and transformation and provide valued advice to a range of stakeholders both within TasWater and externally. To be successful in this role you will be a proven leader with experience leading both technical and customer-facing teams to deliver exceptional outcomes. You will be commercially savvy with exceptional relationship management skills, including with Government, regulatory and industry stakeholders. Ideally coming from an aligned sector (water, heavy industry, mining, manufacturing), you will bring a level of understanding of the complexity of trade waste / hazardous materials management and a strategic mindset around what ‘great’ looks like when it comes to the long-term account management of C&I customers. You bring proven experience in enhancing customer, environmental and commercial outcomes, and are resourceful, with a demonstrated ability to pick up new technical concepts quickly and effectively distil that information to a broad range of stakeholders.
